1. JOB PURPOSE
To lead the legal department, handle all legal concerns of the organization, provide legal counsel to various departments and represent the company in legal processes, mitigate legal risks and effectively manage litigation.
2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Managing litigation and compliance
- Proactively anticipate and evaluate risk factors and suggest steps for its mitigation to safeguard business interest.
- Drafting & vetting of MoU's, LoI's, contracts/ agreements, pleadings, affidavits and other legal documentation(s).
- Work closely with the external counsels, Solicitors firms, state and central authorities to achieve optimal solutions and contribution to business.
- Will also need to handle vendors and third-party supplier’s dispute.
- Independently deal with Advocates/Solicitors firms/Statutory Authorities.
- Ensure Compliance of statutory requirements under various Acts.
- Conducting/appearing in adjudication, arbitration, conciliation, domestic inquiry proceedings, legal cases including land acquisition and mining matters, labour cases in courts/ tribunals and various statutory authorities.
- Rendering legal opinion/advice and independent handling of various matters.
- Promote system / technology to achieve system driven controls / monitoring.

- · Promote business initiatives through strategic and operational legal.
Automation / SOP
- Ensure efficient implementation of SOP.
- Monitor all critical issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Legal Awareness
- Organize training on all applicable Laws and Policies to increase regulatory awareness
3. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Educational Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate in LLB + CS qualification
- 5-7 years of experience
Functional Skills
- Thorough knowledge of Indian Legal System
- Proficiency in communication.
- Ability to facilitate various process implementation
- Superior Leadership and managerial skills
- Self-motivation skill
- Good Business acumen
- Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills
- Mentoring skills
Salary : INR 9,00,000 - 13,00,000 per annum
