Job responsibilities
  • Negotiating with the manufacturers for purchasing the capex items.
  • To develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for new projects.
  • Controlling all Indian EMS suppliers on behalf of Rafael, Israel.
  • Floating RFQ’s to all EMS suppliers in India for Rafael’s offset program and finalizing the cost and contracts.
  • Responsible to source bare PCB’s, electronics parts and mechanical parts for the EMS partners.
  • To identify low cost supply chain partners and to implement a strategy for purchasing.
  • Identifying suppliers for new products as per the cost and other terms.
  • Finalizing the Costing the products.
  • Execute enquiries from other regions as per the agreed timelines.
  • Follow up and optimize the product and service costing, inventory control and obsolescence control.
  • Participate in cross functional module teams to work on product design, cost optimization and target cost achievement.
  • Initiating pricing strategies for production, new development and benchmark quoting.
  • Conducting quarterly business review with top suppliers for negotiation based on the demand.
  • Developing new supply chain partners for cost saving and new requirements.
  • Supporting the design team for New Product Development.
  • Suggesting alternates for the high value and high moving parts and streamlining the process.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams with Rafael for smoothen workflow.
  • To work closely with cross-functional teams in case of any deviations or quality issues.
  • Coordinating with purchase team for smooth material flow and solving purchase issues.
  • Interacting with the suppliers and finance team for reconciliation.
  • Interacting with the supply chain partners to reduce the lead-time for immediate requirements.
  • Responsible for controlling all commercial requirements pertain to capital goods and regular production items.
  • Interacting with the freight forwarders for clearing the import materials.
  • Inventory management.
  • BOM Standardization.
  • Planning the materials based on the forecast with minimum MOQ and reducing the inventory turnover.

Role:  The need to find out the alternate component and cost with the vendor. He needs to provide cost details to engineering team. He needs to source and finalize the component with price . Sourcing plus RFQ knowledge mandatory.

Mandatory Bangalore , Chennai or south candidate. In case of diploma then we need mandatory 8-12 years experience from the same ideal companies. General shift 9:15 to 5:45 pm . Bangalore 5 days working mon-friday , sat depending on work but not mandatory. He will head a team of 2 people.


Candidates having past experience from leading electronics and technology companies will be highly preferred
