Job Description

This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems  with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Exceptional communication skills and a meticulous attention to detail is a must.


Accountabilities & Responsibilities
•     Monitoring market trends and closely tracking competitor actions and policy and regulatory changes
•     Assist with identifying and assessing investment opportunities
•     Assist with due diligence including industry/ company analysis
•     Developing and formalizing business plans and go to market strategies, focusing on long term trends and competitive intelligence
•     Identifying opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share; helping originate deals based on defined commercial pathways to grow business in new market segments
•     Collaborated with internal teams to evaluate opportunities and for analyzing the market opportunities based on best strategic fit principle
    

Key Challenges

Working with cross functional teams and aligning towards common objective, so as to assist with decision making by management

i. Internal Interactions: Corporate Teams at Mumbai , Teams at all assets and service centers
ii. External Interactions: Advisors and consultants assisting on projects


Skills & Knowledge
    
Educational Qualifications & Certifications
a.     1 - 3 years’ experience in consulting/ investment banking experience preferred
b.     Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Economics from top tier university plus MBA from top-tier B-School
    

Functional & Behavioral Skills
  • A strong interpersonal and project management skills, able to effectively interface with partners at various levels of the organization, from individual contributors to senior executives
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel, Power Point
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and results driven, able to develop and drive structured analysis and synthesize work
  • Inquisitive, with excellent problem solving and written/oral communication skills
  • Comfortable working in collaborative, flexible fast changing environment
  • Should be able to work independently and deliver high quality results
  • Should be great at number crunching and analytical skills; strategy formulation and P&L understanding; project management & team working
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity & confidentiality
  • Should be creative, thinking out of box and must be comfortable working in a highly entrepreneurial environment
