About Our Client:
A global leader in logistics and supply chain solutions is seeking a meticulous Senior Internal Auditor to strengthen governance, risk management, and compliance across MENA operations. Key Responsibilities:
Risk-Based Audits: Lead end-to-end internal audits of logistics operations, warehouses, and cross-border transactions
Fraud Prevention: Detect financial/operational irregularities in freight forwarding, customs clearance, and 3PL services
Process Optimization: Identify gaps in procurement, inventory management, and last-mile delivery controls
Compliance Assurance: Verify adherence to IFRS, SOX, AML, and UAE VAT regulations for logistics operations
Stakeholder Reporting: Present findings to C-suite with actionable recommendations to mitigate risks
Qualifications & Experience:
✔ Non-Negotiables:
CIA/CPA/ACCA certification (mandatory)
5+ years internal audit experience in logistics, 3PL, or supply chain sectors
Expertise in ERP audit trails (SAP Logistics Module, Oracle SCM)
Advanced skills in data analytics (ACL, Power BI) for freight cost audits
✔ Preferred:
UAE/GCC experience with knowledge of JAFZA/DAFZA free zone regulations
Arabic language proficiency (advantageous)
